Kobre & Kim recognizes the value of incorporating diverse perspectives and professional disciplines to generate the most effective solutions for clients.

Job Description

Kobre & Kim is currently accepting applications for the Analyst position with a start date of June 16, 2025 for our U.S. offices including New York, Miami, San Francisco, and Washington DC. Additionally, Kobre & Kim has select openings in our San Francisco office with a start date of January 27, 2025. Work authorization is required for employment in the hired office location. Optional Practical Training (OPT) is accepted for U.S. offices. Openings in our non-U.S. offices for 2025 are not anticipated but any openings will be posted on our Workday Careers Platform at https://bit.ly/3zvPMlk.

The Analyst position is an excellent opportunity for recent college graduates or young professionals to gain substantive, hands-on experience in the dynamic fields of complex civil and criminal financial litigation. Analysts immediately join case teams and closely collaborate with the firm’s lawyers, enjoying levels of responsibility and client contact surpassing what other law firms offer. Analysts also support knowledge management and global business development to drive the firm’s practice and product innovation forward.

General duties include factual and financial analysis; legal and open-source research; preparation of court papers; document review and analysis; substantive factual drafting; overseeing case team workflow and project management; and attendance in court or client meetings under lawyer supervision.

Analysts work with lawyers and other professionals across all Kobre & Kim locations including, but not limited to, our offices in New York, Delaware, Miami, San Francisco, São Paulo, Washington DC, Hong Kong, Seoul, Shanghai, Cayman Islands, Cyprus, Dubai, London and Tel Aviv. All Analysts have opportunities for advancement after their first year, including transitioning to promoted roles, and/or potentially transferring to other offices worldwide. Compensation and benefits are highly competitive with top-tier global consulting firms and local markets.

Job Qualifications

Analysts are typically recent graduates and young professionals with a four-year college degree, strong academic background, excellent writing, research, teamwork and communication skills. We strongly encourage applications from confident, highly motivated individuals who display a broad range of academic and extracurricular interests. Interest in exploring financial markets and pursuing a career in law is welcomed but not necessary. All majors including STEM, finance, social sciences and liberal arts can apply. Additional language skills that can be used in a business setting—Arabic, French, German, Hebrew, Italian, Korean, Chinese, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish—are not required but strongly encouraged. Analysts are expected to remain with the firm for a minimum of two years.

Application Instructions

Applications for June 2025 starters are no longer being accepted.
